Course Description

The success of a project depends on the people and the effectiveness of the way they work and communicate with each other. This is directly reflected in the role of the project manager. The basic premise is that a project manager should not only possess analytical skills, but it is imperative that he also has interpersonal skills to effectively manage groups. The aim of the course is to build skills in identifying and managing project stakeholders and participating in communication, team development and teamwork. The course presents an overview of human resource management in the context of the project, explains human resource planning, discusses the procedures of evaluation and selection of team members and team building techniques and team management techniques in the organizational environment. The purpose is to understand the theoretical background and behaviour of the group in practice and the teamwork process to enhance team management. Among other things, the course explains concepts of human behaviour such as motivation, problem solving, decision making, negotiation, and conflict management in the organizational structure.
