the grading for the continous examination for the academic year 2019/2020 is:
2xshort examination (Moodle) = 20 points
2xindividual assignment projects = 20 points
written exam = 45 points
oral exam = 15 points
The grade limits are:
90 --> (5)
75 --> (4)
60 --> (3)
50 --> (2)
The written exam will be held online on Moodle platform in the first week of July. The exact time will be announced here in the news section.
The details for the summer term exams will be announced later.

Dear Students,
in the previously uplaoded materials containing the Thermal power plants (TPP.rar) and Nuclear power plants (NPP.rar) during the preparation for the upcoming examinations please pay special attention to the following:
- For the Thermal part detailed descriptions of the processes can be found in book chapters 9 and 10 (Thermodynamics An Engineering Approach book) and in Gas Turbine Working Principals.pdf chapter. Also please pay special attention to gas_cycle.pdf and steam_cycle.pdf files for the TPP materials.
- For the Nuclear part please study the PWR and BWR files that describe the most important NPP designs. Details can be found in Nuclear Engineering Handbook (Power plant technology_PWR_BWR.pdf).

Additionally, the updated version of the solved examples book has been published that includes solved examples with generators.
Short examination from the introductory, HPP and SG materials (published in the repository) will be held on Friday 15th May at 11 o'clock.
