Course Description
Fundamentals of linear system theory. Model Predictive Control, Optimal Control and Filtering of Linear Systems. Basics on optimization. Connection between mathematical programming and optimal control. Linear programming. Quadratic programming. Stability and recursive feasibility of model predictive control. Multi-parametric programming. Explicit solution to the Model Predictive Control problem for Linear Systems. Extension to hybrid systems.
