MIMO in mobile communication systems

Data is displayed for academic year: 2023./2024.

Course Description

Multiple antennas communication systems. Present models of wireless channel (SISO-Single Input Single Output) and its update for MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) systems. Capacity calculation in MIMO systems: theoretical maximal capacity and capacity in real propagation conditions. MIMO technology application in mobile systems (UTRA FDD, LTE, mobile WiMAX). Single user MIMO, multiuser MIMO and cooperative MIMO.
