Course Description
Multiple antennas communication systems. Present models of wireless channel (SISO-Single Input Single Output) and its update for MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) systems. Capacity calculation in MIMO systems: theoretical maximal capacity and capacity in real propagation conditions. MIMO technology application in mobile systems (WLAN, mobile WiMAX, LTE, 5G). Single user MIMO, multiuser MIMO and cooperative MIMO. Massive MIMO and beamforming in 5G.
