Measurements in electric-power networks

Course Description

Switching and nonlinear elements consequences: flicker, harmonics, transients. Resonances and overvoltages. Problems with signal acquisition on high voltage in broad frequency range. Transfer functions of measuring transformers. Devices for signal acquisition and methods for signal analysis in time and frequency domain. Spectrum, transfer function, coherency and reliability area. The least squares method in special measurements. Harmonics, wave, network, spectral and multi-channel dynamic analyzers.
