Microwave instrumentation and measuring methods

Course Description

Signal parameters in microwave and millimeter frequency regions: power, frequency, spectrum, scattering parameters, and relative phase. Signal generators, sweepers, synthesizers. Frequency counters, power meters, noise figure meters. Automatic network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, modulation analyzers. Measurement of EM field and interference, measuring antennas and receivers. Automatic measuring systems, calibration, real time error correction and accuracy enhancement.
