Course Description

The Information Technology Law course considers various legal aspects of using IT in insurance, from the perspective of Croatian law and European Union law. The course encompasses the areas of privacy and personal data protection, contractual relations in digital environments, including the applications of blockchain and smart contracts, legal regulation of authenticity and identity determination in online environments (digital signatures and certificates), and the basics of intellectual property law.
