Intellectual Property in Industry

Course Description

This is an introductory course on intelectual property that discusses types of intellectual property and its use in the industry with particular focus on startup companies. The course will cover monetization of patents and other types of intellectual property, the defense of intellectual property with a number of practical examples from real cases.
