Embedded systems programming based on AUTOSAR architecture

Course Description

The course introduces students to the AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open Systems ARchitecture) architecture, which is the software development standard for embedded systems in automotive industry. AUTOSAR platform was created to provide a common open and standardized architecture for programming ECU (electronic control unit) units in cars. The course covers two AUTOSAR platforms, classic and adaptive, comparing their basic features and differences, and providing examples when each of the platforms is typically used in industry applications. Beside gaining the theoretical knowledge, students will also work on practical assignments with AUTOSAR software tools used in industry.
