Course Description
The objective of this course is to introduce students with the latest trends in the development of information-communication technologies (ICT), especially digital technologies, as well as the social, technological, organizational and business aspects of its application in a dynamic business environment. The course will explain latest trends in digital economy and analyze frameworks and models by which basic and advanced digital technologies allow organizations to increase productivity, efficiency and competitiveness and affect business changes. Course provides a holistic understanding of how modern digital technologies affect business and explains methodologies and frameworks for digital transformation. It will also explore and analyze the factors which affect the success of digital transformation.
Course objectives are:
• to be acquainted with latest digital economy trends and methodologies to implement digital transformation
• to integrate technological and business knowledge and managerial and leadership skills in the implementation of digital transformation
• to explain the methods and frameworks of strategic IT management and management of digital technology
• • to explain the methods and frameworks of strategic business analysis and business model analysis and analyze the impact of IT and digital technologies on business
