Course Description

This course covers the research area of computer supported education with the main aim to introduce students to computer technologies used for learning and teaching, with a short overview of the pedagogical and methodological theories and principles needed for successful implementation of computer and technology supported education. The course covers the topics of e-learning, collaborative learning and active learning supported with computers, learning analytics, mobile learning, learning with computer games and learning by collaborating around computers. In addition to the pedagogical principles and the application of technology, the course covers the area of implementation of innovative technological solutions for education and the design of methodologies for evaluation of such systems.
