Course Description

Basic implementations of transistors and their electrical characteristics. Transistor circuit models and figures-of-merit (FOMs). Measurement of transistor electrical characteristics and model parameter extraction. Overview of transistor SPICE models. Calibration, tuning and optimization of SPICE models. Application of SPICE models in circuit simulators. Basics of circuit simulation - DC, AC, transient analysis. Physical design of circuits. Measurement of DC and AC circuit parameters.
