Obavijesti
On 4th December, project team member prof. Igor Kuzle, took part in organizing and delivering lectures at the HO CIRED seminar on “Power Systems with Increased Penetration of Power Electronics Devices”. He presented topics addressed within the DYNASTY project, including renewable energy sources (RES) and the inertial response of power systems.

Karlo Kobeščak, a member of the DYNASTY project team, spent four weeks in November this year on a research visit at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) under the supervision of prof. Tomislav Dragičević. During his stay, he had the opportunity to conduct experimental tests in the laboratory focused on power electronics and supercapacitor applications.
This experience allowed him to deepen his expertise, gain hands-on laboratory skills, and bring valuable insights back to the project, contributing to the development of dynamic stability solutions for inverter-based power systems.

The project team took part in the ISGT Europe 2025 Conference, held in Malta from October 20 to 24, 2025. During the event, three team members, Igor Kuzle, Karlo Kobeščak and Tomislav Baškarad presented two conference papers, showcasing the project’s latest results. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking with experts and researchers from across Europe. The presented papers are:
Karlo Kobeščak, Goran Grdenić, Igor Kuzle, "Small-Signal Interaction Analysis between Grid-Forming and Grid-Following Converters"
Tomislav Baškarad, Ninoslav Holjevac, Igor Kuzle, "Improving Power System Frequency Response with Converter-Based Resources: A Measurement-Based Analysis"

We are pleased to announce that our team member Karlo Kobeščak has attended 2nd SUNRISE Summer School in Belgrade, Serbia from July 7–11, 2025. Main topics included in the summer school are Modeling, control and simulation of voltage source converters, Integrated simulation environment, controllers in renewable energy systems: virtual inertia, primary frequency response and voltage support, etc.

Conference on Electricity Distribution of Croatian Committte) HO CIRED on 25-27 May 2025, titled: „OPTIMIZATION MODEL FOR WIND FARM MAINTENANCE“, „Optimizacijski model održavanja vjetroelektrana".
We are pleased to announce that our team member Karlo Kobeščak has presented his work on Dynasty project at the Proceedings of the 30th International and Mediterranean Conference MeditMaint on 19-22 May 2025, titled: „Power Transformer Asset Management Based on Harmonic Distorsion Measurement “, „Upravljanje imovinom energetskih transformatora na temelju mjerenja harmoničkog izobličenja".
Professor Igor Kuzle delivered a keynote speech "Power System Inertial and Frequency Response" at the International Conference on Intelligent Systems Applications to Power Systems (ISAP'24) in Budapest, Hungary on September 16-19, 2024. As a part of a keynote speech project Dynasty was also presented.
We are pleased to announce that we have presented project Dynasty at the IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies 2024 conference in Dubrovnik on October 14th-17th, 2024. We have also presented our paper titled: „Evaluating the possibilities of inverter- based technologies to ensure system dynamic stability “.
