Call for Papers
The 7th Croatian Computer Vision Workshop (CCVW 2018) will take place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia, on October 24, 2018.
The Workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners in the area of computer vision and image understanding. The aim of the workshop is to foster interaction of researchers, exchange of new ideas, and to enhance communication between academia and industry.
The scientific program of the Workshop consists of invited lecture(s) and of regular papers which will be presented either orally or as posters. A student poster session may be organized to showcase the work of undergraduate and graduate students. The program may also includes an industry session aimed at strengthening relations between academia and industry.
Prospective authors are invited to submit their manuscripts reporting original work.

Publications
The workshop publications are the Proceedings of Croatian Computer Vision Workshop and an abstract book.
The Proceedings are published online and contain papers representing original previously unpublished work that are accepted for the Workshop.
Student Poster Session
Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit their manuscripts for inclusion in the student poster session.
Author Information
Two types of contributions will be considered for inclusion in the Workshop program:
- Research papers reporting original unpublished work. These submissions undergo an international peer-review process. Only accepted papers will be presented at the Workshop and will be published in the online Proceedings of the Croatian Computer Vision Workshop.
Two categories of original papers will be accepted: type 1A are regular research papers and type 1B are papers whose first author is a student.
- Research group overviews, project activity reports, presentation of relevant work published elswhere, presentation of industry projects, and any other relevant information. These submissions do not undergo a peer-review process; instead the Workshop chairs will select the most relevant submissions to be presented at the Workshop. Submissions of these type are NOT included in the Proceedings, but are a valuable part of the Workshop's program.
The authors will be asked to indicate the type of their submission in the online submission system.
Submitted research papers reporting original unpublished work (type 1) should not exceed SIX A4 pages. These six A4 pages should include ALL the contents of the paper, including abstract, figures, references, etc. Submitted papers should follow the IEEE conference proceedings templates (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) for double column A4 paper size.
Authors of accepted papers are required to register and present the papers.
