The Consumer Computing Lab at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing conducts research at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, and intelligent information systems, with a focus on practical impact in modern computing environments. The lab’s work includes software quality assurance and defect prediction, reliability of distributed systems, machine learning for source code and text analysis, recommender systems, and explainable AI. By combining empirical software engineering with deep learning and graph-based modeling, the lab develops intelligent methods that improve reliability, efficiency, and transparency in contemporary software systems.
