Životopis
Adrijan Barić završio je Klasičnu gimnaziju u Zagrebu 1977. godine, diplomirao 1982. i magistrirao 1985. godine na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, danas Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva. Doktorirao je na Dublin City University, Irska, 1995. Dobitnik je EOLAS stipendije Irske vlade, bio je na dvomjesečnom studijskom boravku na Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Engleska, 1993. godine te na šestomjesečnoj poslijedoktorskoj specijalizaciji na Ghent University, Belgija, 2000. godine.
Na Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva (FER) Sveučilišta u Zagrebu radi od 1984. U rednog profesora izabran je 2008., a od 2013. je redoviti profesor u trajnom zvanju. Bio je glavni istraživač na dva projekta Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i športa: ‘Modeliranje elemenata i projektiranje brzih sklopova’ od 2002. do 2006. i od 2007. do 2010. godine ‘Kvaliteta signala u integriranim sklopovima s mješovitim signalom’. Vodio je projekt u sklopu suradnje s firmama Compaq, Shrewsbury, USA i Systemcom, Zagreb. Od 2003. do 2007. vodio je FER-ov tim u FP6 projektu „ROBUst mixed signal design methodologies for Smart Power ICs (ROBUSPIC)“. Od 2007. do 2009. vodio je FER-ov tim u EUREKA MEDEA+ projektu Parachute kojeg je financirala kompanija AMI Semiconductor (Belgija) na temu 'Automotive IC Design for low EMC'. Vodio je FER-ov tim na projektu GoldenGates od 2009. do 2012. kojeg je financirala kompanija ON Semiconductor (Belgija) na temu 'Improvement of ElectroMagnetic Reliability System Performance by applying ElectroMagnetic Synergy'. Vodio je FER-ov tim na projektu INVENT (2011. do 2014.) kojeg je financirala Flamanska zaklada za znanost IWT i tvrtka ON Semiconductor (Belgija) na temu 'Integrated Voltage Regulator using Novel Topologies and Devices'. Vodio je FER-ov tim na FP7 projektu 'IMOLA - Intelligent light management for OLED on foil applications' (01. 10. 2011. do 31. 03. 2015.) (partneri na projektu IMOLA su bili: imec (Belgija), TNO (Nizozemska), Philips (Njemačka), NXP (Nizozemska), NXP (Belgija), Hanita (Izrael), Henkel (Belgija), CRP (Italija)). Vodio je BICRO PoC5 projekt «Elektro-optički detektor za mjerenje širokopojasnih strujnih izboja na čipovima» (01. 01. 2014. do 31. 05. 2015.) i projekt RC.2.2.08-16 «Bežično napajani mikroelektronički sklop za distribuirane senzorske mreže» financiran iz Strukturnih fondova EU u sklopu programa 2007.-2013., Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanje i sporta, Hrvatska (21. 10. 2014. do 20. 02. 2016.).
Trenutno vodi projekt IVPROBE kojeg financira kompanija ON Semiconductor (Belgija) na temu širokopojasnog mjerenja velikih struja i velikih napona na čipu (2015. do 2018.), projekt «Electromagnetic Compatibility Simulation Environment» na temu ponašajnog modeliranja analognih elektroničkih sklopova u vremenskoj domeni kojeg financira tvrtka ams AG, Austria (01. 09. 2014. do 31. 08. 2017.), projekt Hrvatske zaklade za znanost «Napredna metodologija projektiranja prekidačkih istosmjernih pretvornika» (IP-2014-09-6405) (01. 06. 2015. do 31. 05. 2019.), te projekt «Next Generation Highly Integrated RF Gate Drive Circuit for High Switching Speed Semiconductors» financiran od tvrtke UTRC Ireland (United Technologies Research Center Ireland) (2016. do 2017.).
Istraživačka grupa koju vodi do sada je projektirala i procesirala 9 čipova u 130 nm do 350 nm CMOS tehnologijama preko EUROPRACTICE ili MOSIS inicijativa.
Bio je predsjednik Odbora za istraživanje, razvoj i tehnologiju Sveučilišta u Zagrebu od 2007. do 2011. Od 2006. član je Vijeća tehničkog područja Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, a od 2013. je predsjednik Vijeća tehničkog područja Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.
Na Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva bio je član i predsjednik Povjerenstva za priznavanje istovrijednosti stranih diploma te predsjednik Povjerenstva za stegovnu odgovornost studenata (1998. do 2006.) kao i predsjednik Odbora za stegovnu odgovornost (2005. do 2006.). Od listopada 2006. do rujna 2008. godine obnaša dužnost prodekana za znanost. Član je Odbora za istraživanje i međunarodnu suradnju od 2010. do 2016., a od 2016. član Odbora za istraživanje i inovacije. Bio je član predsjedništva AMAC-FER-a od 2006. do 2015. Član je Nadzornog odbora AMAC-FER-a od 2015. Predstojnik je Zavoda za elektroniku, mikroelektroniku, računalne i inteligentne sustave od 01. 10. 2016. Predsjednik je Znanstveno-stručnog vijeća Inovacijskog centra Nikola Tesla od 2016.
Bio je predsjedatelj IEEE International conference on Electronics Circuits and Systems - ICECS 2002, supredsjedatelj konferencije IEEE Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference - MELECON 2004, financijski voditelj konferencije IEEE Internationnal Symposium on Industrial Electronics - ISIE 2005, te Technical Programe Chair konferencije Electromagnetic Compatibility of Integrated Circuits 2011 - EMC Compo 2011. Bio je član je Steering Committee serije konferencija IEEE ICECS. Član je Programskog odbora serije konferencija ECCTD, te serije konferencija EMC Compo, te je član Programskog odbora konferencije IEEE EMC Europe 2017.
Član je udruga IEEE, HD MIPRO, KoREMA i AMAC-FER.
Dobitnik je Zlatne plakete «Josip Lončar» za 2015. koju dodjeljuje Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.
