LABUST participated at the 4th Conference on Marine Technology in Rijeka, Croatia

LABUST participated on the 4th Conference on Marine Technology in memoriam of the academician Zlatko Winkler held on the November 25 and 26, 2011at Faculty of Engineering University of Rijeka, Croatia (under auspieces of The Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts The Department of Technical Sciences).

Prof. Vukić awarded the Golden Plaque by the Faculty Council

According to the decision of the Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, prof. Zoran Vukić was awarded the GOLDEN PLAQUE "Josip Lončar" for the academic year 2010./2011. for

significant enhancment of the academia and scientific advances in the area of underwater systems and technologies, and especially for strengthening the Faculty's research potential and successful competition in the European research area.

LABUST students' visit to Uljanik shipyard

Students from the Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies visited the Uljanik shipyard in Pula on Monday, October 24th. The visit consisted of a short presentation about Uljanik's activities and job offers and a tour of Veruda, a new bulk carrier being built for Uljanik's shipping company.
