"Cloud based production of telecommunication services at PanNet"
koje će održati Dr. Stefan Schnitter iz tvrtke Detecon International and Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net iz Njemačke u petak, 24.2.2017., u 13.15 sati, u Bijeloj vijećnici Fakulteta elektrotehnike i računarstva Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, Unska 3, Zagreb.
Predavanje je na engleskom jeziku, a predviđeno trajanje s raspravom je 60 minuta. Predavanje je otvoreno za sve zainteresirane, a posebno pozivamo studente.

Telecommunication operators have undergone already a significant transformation of their services production in the past: From circuit switches services to All-IP and from voice to triple play services. Still, telecommunication operators are under significant pressure from over-the-top player in their core services when providing voice, messaging, video or secure data services today. As a response to this Deutsche Telekom Group and Croatian Telekom are moving their production of telco services to the cloud for reasons of cost efficiency and faster time to market. In addition, Deutsche Telekom PanNet is building a cloud based production factory across Europe that will be used for service production in an integrated way for all daughter companies for DT group. The lecture explains both the main technologies behind the cloud based production model for telecommunication services as well as the implication of a closer integration of IT and network technologies and processes for the future of Telco production.
Dr. Stefan Schnitter is partner at Detecon International and currently senior vice president for infrastructure at Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net. In his role at Pan-Net, Stefan is building the infrastructure for Deutsche Telekom’s Pan-European production factory. Previously, he has more than 10 years consulting experience within Deutsche Telekom Group but also for telecommunication operators in Middle East and North Africa, Asia and Pacific, and Europe regions. His consulting focus was in the areas of technology strategy, IP networks, NGN/All-IP migration, virtualization in Telco networks and Design-to-Cost approaches for Telcos. Stefan holds a PhD degree in applied mathematics.
