Imagine you are part of a development team and are given the assignment to develop a car radar system that automatically detects the distance between cars while driving. You and your team are to keep pace with the latest developments in automotive systems and deal with the requirements for industrial developments.
Take a look behind the scenes of an innovative world market leader!
About 10 years ago, Rohde & Schwarz and the Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE) shared an idea: to hold a competition that would give students majoring in a technical field a detailed look into the everyday work of an engineer.
This central idea is the basis for today's case study competition (CSC): Here you can expand your scientific knowledge and use the latest Rohde & Schwarz technology to work on a current, real-life task.
Each year, preliminary rounds are held between May and June at over 10 major technical universities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Singapore.
The team with the best problem-solving approach and most convincing presentation from each preliminary round will be invited to attend the final round in Munich, where they will compete against the winners from the other preliminary rounds. In addition to a cash prize of EUR 2000 (SGD 4000), you will also have the chance to win other great prizes for your university.
Deadline for registration: two days before the event
Location for preliminary round: TU Graz, Inffeldgasse 18, 8010 Graz
Dates for the preliminary round: German 7.5.2013., English 8.5.2013.
