Public debate “Dialogue with Citizens”, attended by Mrs Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society and Mrs Dubravka Šuica , representative in the EU Parliament, was held at FER on Friday, 23 March 2018. Discussion was moderated by associate professor Nikola Mišković, Ph.D. The main topic of the interactive discussion was the digital future of Europe, while subjects such as digital skills, IT security, fake news, digital innovations and AI were also discussed. Dialogue with Citizens is a form of direct discussion between citizens and the European Commission about a broad range of European topics, and is a part of the ongoing process of two-way communication by which the Commission addresses citizens in all the EU member states. This was the eleventh such meeting with the citizens of Croatia since its ascension to the EU. You can see a few photos from the discussion in more detailed information.
