The Faculty offers doctoral study in the area of technical sciences, scientific field of electrical engineering and scientific field of computing. The core components of the university doctoral study are scientific research and creativity. Within the postgraduate doctoral study, students are introduced to scientific research work and prepared for a career in either scientific and academic sectors or for research and development in the economy, where they can contribute to the prosperity and welfare of the society by creating new knowledge and technologies.

Postgraduate doctoral studies in the fields of electrical engineering and computing are classified as the studies from the area of technical sciences. These studies educate young scientists for important areas that are rapidly evolving and have a decisive role in the technological and general development. It should be stressed that today’s progress in technology is not only achieved by ingenuity of new solutions; rather, it is the result of a serious research and development.
