In order to provide the constitutionally guaranteed right to equal access to education for all the candidates with disabilities, University of Zagreb established Office for Students with Disabilities, as a reference center where students can get the information on the spot, as well as by telephone, e-mail, flyers or brochures. Through its activities, the Office offers students direct help with solving specific problems that may arise during their studies, thus representing a mechanism for ensuring equal opportunities.
