Description:

Introduction. Visualization pipeline system. Data acquisition. Visualization methods, classification and properties. Visualization methods: iso-surface based methods, direct volume rendering, rendering by slicing, frequency and wavelet domain volume rendering. Transfer functions for volume rendering. Visual artifacts, sampling and reconstruction. Multimodal data. Interactive approaches with the visualized data. Information visualization.
