All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

Description:
Software design course addresses basic knowledge and skills for acquiring the competences in software engineering, namely understanding, evaluating and designing of software systems. Generic models of software engineering processes. Requirements engineering. Software architecture concepts and specification paradigms. Modeling of input/output and reactive software systems. Object-oriented system modeling (UML). Formal specification and verification of software system properties. Software testing. Automated assistance and tools in software design process.

The results of midterm exam are published on FER-web.

 

The students may see their exam next Tuesday, Dec. 15th at 15:00 in room D337 (ZEMRIS Department).

The midterm will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 5.45 PM in room A202 with duration of 2 hours (120 minutes).

 

The topics included are all from the semestar start to the topic of "UML modeling of object-oriented architectures""

 

The midterm exam consists of 12 short theoretical questions with multiple-choice answers and one practical problem solving exercise with UML modeling tasks.

 

Every short question is valued 1 point if correct, -0.25 point if wrong, and 0 if not answered.

The problem solving exercise is valued 13 points in total so the maximum score is 25 points.

The minimal score is 0 points.

 

Students are upon Midterm finish time due to return the Exam paper together with papers with problem exercise solutions.
