Description:

Digitalization of sound. Compression and reduction of audio data and perceptualy coded audio systems. Formats used in audio transmission and archiveing. Digital audio interfaces. Sound subsystem on computers. Standards and measurements on digital audio devices for multimedia applications. Sound in multimedia presentations and computer games. Sound sintesys and virtual sound fields. Multichannel digital audio systems. Acoustical properties of spaces for multichannel reproduction.
