Description:

Structure of modern electric drives. Characteristics of electromechanical and electric power converters for electric drives. Characteristics of working mechanisms. Laws of motion of electric drives. AC and DC drives. Dynamic conditions of electric drives. Electric drives for explosive atmosphere; Ex e, Ex d, Ex p and Ex nA types of protection. Electric drives for thermal power plants. Criteria for selection of electric motors and components of the drive. Possibilities for saving energy by using regulated electric drives. Diagnostics of electric drives.
