Description:

Fundamentals of biological systems. Biotic and abiotic state variables of bioreactors. Stoichiometric models and regulation of intracellular reactions. Kinetic models and regulation of activity of enzyme reactions. Basic structures of bioreactor control. Optimal dynamic control of bioreactors. Application of artificial intelligence (neural networks, fuzzy logic and genetic algorithm) for monitoring and adaprive bioreactor control.
