Description:

Planar and cylindrical dielectric waveguides. Chromatic and polarization dispersion, non-linear effects. Methods for dispersion compensation, high speed and large distance optical systems, wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) systems. Components for optical communications systems. Fiber optic sensor systems, sensors based on intensity modulation, interferometers, polarimetric fiber sensors, optical gyroscope, fiber Bragg grating sensors, distributed fiber sensor systems.
