All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

Description:

Materials in products for electrical engineering, electronic, communications and computing. Efficiency and voltage and current loadability of products in dependence of used materials. Mechanical and electrical properties of materials. Classification and fundamental properties of materials: metals, semiconductor materials, magnetic materials, isolation materials, ceramics, polymers, composite materials, high-tech materials and biomaterials. Environment influence on reliability of electrical products. Corrosion protection, cathodic protection. Product selection and testing according environment conditions. Environment protection. Recycling of materials.
