Description:

Fundamental electrical, optical and mechanical properties of semiconductors. Defects in materials. Fundamentals on 1D, 2D and 3D nanostructures. Semiconductor and metal nanostructures, general remarks on synthesis and nanofabrication methods. Fundamentals of Infrared spectroscopy. Raman spectroscopy. Photoluminescence. Atomic Force microscopy (AFM). Scanning transmition electron microscoscopy STEM. Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy (DLTS). Nuclear methods.
