Characteristics of music and speech. use of computers in recording, processing and reproduction of sound. Music instruments and other sound sources. Microphones, systems and other transducers for sound recording. Microphone positioning and recording methods, stereo, multichannel, etc. Mixing tables. Devices for processing and sound effects. Audio amplifiers. Loudspeakers and systems. Headphones. Sound reinforcement in different conditions. Measuring and evaluation of transducers and systems.
