All members of every project team should attend the control point. During the control point each team will give a PowerPoint presentation about the progress of the project assignment. Each presentation should last for 15 minutes. Beside the presentation each team should bring:

  • An overview of related works and projects, physical copies of the mentioned papers and links to the projects.
  • A well documented database that will be used to evaluate the solution of the project assignment (if there are no existing  usable databases, the team should collect a new one).

Texts of this year's project assignments have been published on Course material subpage, folder Project asignments. The template for the project documentation has also been published in the same folder.

19 students participate in project assignments this year, including two students from the Erasmus exchange. The students are expected to group together in teams of maximum (included) 5 students to cover the project assignments. Not all the proposed assignments need to be covered, and assignment no. 3 is already taken.

All students need to form project teams and send team applications to my e-mail address. The deadline for applications is this Friday 19. October 2012. at 12 o'clock.

The applications should contain the names of the team memers and three assignments that the group wants to work on in the order of preference.

The first available preferred assignment will be awarded to each team. Students who do not apply as members of any team by the proposed deadline will be assigned to any team which has openings available.
