All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

"The entire range of communication and man-man or man-machine is based on the speech, in general and hearing the sound stimuli, ie Psychoacoustic chain. In this area is related to the entire chain of information transmission: from converting sound into electrical signal processing, storage, transmission, and reproduction. Each individual step treats the structure, characteristics and development of devices and procedures to them, the software with the help of which the above steps and implement the architecture and the importance of systems that are applied. Because of the versatility of applications and multifunctional area is necessarily interdisciplinary.
Hearing. The ear. Pinna-effect. Influence of the head. Psychoacoustic event and experience. Monotically, diotically and dichotically hearing. Hearing process. Hearing processing in time. Perception of the first wave front. Haas-effect. Inhibition. Loudness, timbre and pitch perception. Spatial hearing. The influence of interaural time and pressure differences. Masking of primary and secondary sound. Intelligibility and data reduction in dependence of masking level. Binaural measurements. Listening tests. Space influence on the hearing perception. Noise influence on men."
