Choice of solution strategy through analytical or numerical procedures. Standards for number representations and respective range and precision. Errors introduced by cutting off, rounding off, measurement, carry & overflow. Discrepancies between accuracy and precision. Software: Mathematica, MathCad. Algorithms for efficient solving of nonlinear equation systems, choice of parameter values in numerical derivation and integration. Examples of practical implementation and application.
