First Croatian Computer Vision Workshop (CCVW 2012) will be organized at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

Aims and Scope

CCVV is an open workshop intended to bring together both Croatian and international researchers and representatives from Croatian industry that have common interest in the fields of computer vision and image understanding.

The aim of the Workshop is to promote research and development collaboration between researchers and industry.

Topic of interest include theory and applications of computer vision, image and video processing, analysis, and understanding:

  • Autonomous Vehicles
  • Biometrics
  • Biomedicine
  • Broadcasting
  • Face detection and tracking
  • Image databases
  • Visual quality inspection
  • Remote-sensing
  • Medical and mobile robotics
  • Traffic
  • Document processing

The workshop program includes twelve international invited lectures, invited lectures by researchers from four Croatian universities (Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek), and poster presentations.

Registration

Participation in the workshop is open to interested professionals at academic institutions and in industry, as well as to students.

Venue

All lectures will be given in the lecture room "Siva vijecnica" at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Unska 3, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.

Publications

The workshop Abstract Book with the program and titles and abstracts of all invited lectures and posters will be published in paper form and on CD. CD Abstract Book will also contain PDF files of all presented posters.
