Životopis

Adrijan Barić rođen je u Zagrebu 1958. Diplomirao je i magistrirao u polju elektrotehnike na Sveučilištu u Zagrebu Fakultetu elektrotehnike i računarstva (FER), 1982. i 1985. godine. Doktorirao je na Dublin City University, Irska, 1995.

Od studenoga 1984. godine radi na Zavodu za elektroniku, mikroelektroniku, računalne i inteligentne sustave FER-a. Predaje kolegije "Electronika 1", "Electronika 2", "Analogni i analogno-digitalni integriranih sklopovi", "Projektiranje radiofrekvencijskih i mikrovalnih integriranih sklopova" i "Integriranih sklopovi za velike brzine rada".

Bio je gostujući istraživač na Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Ujedinjeno Kravljevstvo, 1994. i postdoktorski istraživač na Ghent University, Belgija,  2000. godine. U siječnju 2008. godine izabran je u zvanje redovitog profesora. Sudjelovao je na tri znanstvena projekata Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta Republike Hrvatske, jednom EU FP6 projektu i jednom EU FP7 projektu te nekoliko multilateralnih međunarodnih projekata. Trenutno je voditelj istraživačkog projekta "Kvaliteta signala u integriranim sklopovima s mješovitim signalom" kojeg financira Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta Republike Hrvatske i voditelj FER-ovog istraživačkog tima koji sudjeluje u EU FP7 projektu "Intelligent light Management for OLED on foil Applications - IMOLA". Objavio je više od 70 radova u časopisima i zbornicima konferencija u području modeliranja poluvodičkih elemenata, projektiranja i modeliranja integriranih sklopova te elektromagnetske kompatibilnosti.

Prof. Barić član je stručne udruge IEEE i član hrvatskih inžinjerskih društava MIPRO i KoREMA. Bio je glavni predsjedatelj konferencija ICECS 2002 i supredsjedatelj konferencije MELECON 2004, financijski predsjedatelj konferecije ISIE 2005 i programski predsjedatelj konferencije EMC COMPO 2011. te je služio kao član tehničkog programskog odbora više međunarodnih znanstvenih konferencija.
